


I am Jules POMMIER, a Berlin-born (1997) researcher specialising in interactive systems, cognitive science, and behavioural intervention design. I bring professional fluency in English as well as in my mothertongues German and French. I model game experiments to bring a systemic approach to understanding human behaviour through game design.
With emerging publications on autonomy in games, coopetitive mechanisms, and cognitive measurement through interactive systems, my academic and applied research ambition centres on developing games as controlled environments for measuring human decision-making, learning, and wellbeing.
EXPERIENCE
Scientific Researcher at HTW Berlin, DE:HIVE Institute (Since 2022)
Research and teaching assistant for several design projects and courses, successful grant applications and providing assistance to studios and laboratories.
From 2022 to 2024 in the project ‘BM=x3‘ on a ‘Vocational training in micro- and nanotechnology‘, Game Development for career advertisement and enhancing engagement with technology, merging game for learning with entertainment approaches under the lead of Prof. Brandhorst & Prof. Bremer. Management of seven different working students over the duration of the project. Cooperation with six other project partners, including physicists, engineers and microtechnologists.
Since 2025 in the BMBF-funded program ‘EnTree‘ on a ‘Gamified interactive family-based transdiagnostic therapy to support emotion regulation skills in children with mental illness‘ and in the EU-funded Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships program on ‘European Game Science Laboratory‘, realising events, courses and summer schools around the co-developed LUNA framework to advance learning and teaching Game Design all around Europe.
